One of my favorite verses in the Bible is Psalms 23:1. "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want." Jesus Christ will take care of all of my needs, in His own way, and in His own time, as long as I follow him. My testimony is merely a reflection of serving a great God.

I was born to Godly parents and at the age of 4 I asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins and give me a home in heaven. As I moved into the teen years, I began to walk away from God, trying to be the shepherd of my own life - and that did not lead to happiness or peace. After my sophomore year I attended the WILDS Christian Camp in Brevard NC, and that is where God reached down and broke my will. "Whom the Lord loves, he chastens." I was His child, and He loved me more then I could love myself. I surrendered to do anything that God wanted me to do. You know what? Following Christ is the best thing that can ever happen. He has blessed beyond what I could ever imagine or hope. I am not saying that life with Christ is easy, but life with Christ is best. Because of following Christ on a mission trip, I met my wife in the summer of 1997 and in June of 1998 I married my best friend. In 1998 I followed the Lord and began working at Harvester, doing anything and everything that was asked of me. Following God is best! On December 7, 2001 the Lord blessed us with a beautiful baby girl. "The fruit of the womb is His reward!" On May 4, 2003, God blessed us again with a healthy little boy.

Serving at Harvester has been a huge blessing. I enjoy learning more about God as I study for sermons, and I totally enjoy spending time with the teens. They are one of my greatest joys in the ministry. It is a blessing to be able to spend times with our youth!! I never would have chosen these paths, but my paths would have never been this satisfying. Praise HIM!

Following Christ is the best thing.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart;
and lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
and He shall direct your paths.
